One of the highlights of my visit was indulging in their Sicilian Pizza, which was a revelation. The crust was perfectly crispy, and the balance of sauce and cheese was delightful. It's no surprise that patrons rave about it, as one customer enthusiastically noted the pizza maintained its texture even when savored later. This speaks volumes about the quality and freshness of their ingredients.
Customer feedback echoes the same sentiment. Regulars like Scott B. enthusiastically recommend the Cheese Steak, claiming it's a must-try with its generous portions of tender meat and flavorful toppings. Dining here feels like enjoying a comforting home-cooked meal, where every bite resonates with warmth and love.

I hate when I look up a place and the reviews are super old! So I'm writing this one as a courtesy! My husband ordered this for us Saturday night for dinner and I couldn't have been more pleased. Ok so we ordered wings, sauce on the side, a spinach calzone and a small pie for my toddler. My hubby had a chicken cheesesteak, which he didn't care for and I didn't take a pic of and a Caesar salad. I took some pics but here's the break down. The pizza was really good, the dough has good flavor and is soft, the same for the calzone and the cheese tasted fresh! The wings is the reason for the lost star. I can't figure out if they were chopped and frozen and breaded but they had a coating on them that resembled battered fish. They were super flavorful but they were decent. I just didn't like that when I bit into them, they each seemed to have broken bones. The sauce was also pretty basic hot sauce and I'm a super fan of hot sauces. The calzone was delicious and the pizza was a win. My husband said the chicken cheesesteak was pretty basic as well, the meat wasn't that good of a quality. I tried to get a pic of the size of the pizza, it's perfect for kids. So pizza stuff good, chicken stuff no good. The salad was pretty generic but the Caesar dressing was delicious.

Very good pizza, especially their Sicilian. The review needs more characters before it posts so... ugcucuvovucu higucucuxucyxuvuvv c continue

Salvito's is a North East Philly gem of a pizza joint. I get the small pizza for myself or the raviolis with cheese on top with garlic bread. The family typically gets Large pies and cheese steaks. But it's always all good. All 5 items. They are family oriented owners that work hard. Prices are good and the service is always fast as hell bro. Slices, Steaks, Strombolis. It's all good here. Eat in or out in your car like I occasionally do or have them deliver to your house when it gets to cold to chill outside. Awesome place. They close at 9 during the week and at like 11 on weekends. Maybe 12. I'm not sure but order b4 that anyway.

The wife and I wanted to try a new pizza spot. We ordered a plain cheese pizza from Salvito's. Excellent! Will definitely be a go-to for us from now on. Thanks!

Always recommend and love the food. Glad to grow up close by to enjoy the food that they make.

Great pizza!! Awesome neighborhood atmosphere. The price of my pizza went up because I paid with credit-just so you are aware. They have great specials each day. Definitely check them out.

Being a born and raised New Yorker makes it difficult to eat pizza any where else and not be picky. I looked up pizza places that had Sicilian pizza or "square" pizza and I trusted that Salvito's would be able to make an upside down Sicilian pie if I asked. I took a risk and that risk led me to be extremely happy with the turn out. When I asked if they make it, they said is that where the sauce is on the top and the cheese mostly on the bottom? I said, "Yes!" Then they said they would make it! It came out awesome and not only that but the dough tasted fresh and after an hour or so when eating another slice it was still crunchy for people. Which to me... if you know anything about pizza, then you will know that at times the pizza tastes nasty when it's cold and the dough either gets soggy or hard, yet their crust and dough was perfect. I would recommend that this would become something consistent in the menu because it's that good!

Food so nice, I have to review it twice.... My last night here, so I had to make it a good one... I ordered their Stuffed Shells and their Salvito's Cheese steak.... Four large shells, packed with cheese, smothered in sauce, topped with mozzarella.... Italian comfort food right there... Now... about the Cheese Steak.... (leaning in, talking directly to you).... buy the Cheese Steak.... just do it... you won't regret. When I first got here, after paying my gargantuan toll fee, Tollbooth Willy recommended one place that was supposed to be soooooo good, "best in town".... It was "meh"... I had a better Philly in South Carolina compared to this Philly from Philly. Salvito's made the "best in town" pale by comparison.. Soft, tender meat, peppers, onions and mushrooms, and LOTS of it... what could be better? Do yourself a favor, eat their food... you can taste the love... good stuff right there!!
